More Space. Same Home You Love.
Sometimes the right home is the one you already own — it just needs more room.
Riganel Homes designs and builds thoughtfully planned home additions throughout Columbus, Bexley, and Central Ohio, helping homeowners create the space they need without giving up the location, character, or home they already love.
Whether you're expanding a kitchen, adding a primary suite, creating more room for your family, or reimagining the entire footprint of your home, we approach an addition as more than simply adding square footage. The new space should feel intentional, functional, and — most importantly — like it has always belonged there.

Expand What’s Possible.
Riganel Homes works with homeowners on additions and expansions that may include:
Kitchen and family room expansions
Primary bedroom and bathroom suites
First-floor additions
Second-story additions
Additional bedrooms and bathrooms
Home offices
Mudrooms and functional family spaces
Expanded living and entertaining areas
Attached garages and living space
Whole-home renovations incorporating new additions
Every home — and every reason for needing more space — is different.
We work with you to understand what's missing from your current home and determine how additional space can make it work better.
Old Character. New Possibilities.
Older homes are part of what makes neighborhoods like Bexley so special. They're also often missing the things today's families want most — larger kitchens, primary suites, mudrooms, additional bathrooms, storage, and open gathering spaces.
You shouldn't necessarily have to leave an established neighborhood or a home you love to get those things.
A thoughtfully designed addition can preserve everything you love about your existing home while creating the space your family needs now — and for years to come.
For our Clifton Project, the first floor was chopped up and in disrepair. We cleaned it up, added significant square feet, formed clean, natural lines. On the interior, this allowed room for a huge open concept kitchen, owner suite with free standing tub, shower, and major closet vibes.
An Addition Shouldn't Look Like an Addition.
One of the biggest differences between simply adding square footage and creating a great addition is how the new space connects to the original home.
We pay close attention to proportions, rooflines, materials, flooring, trim, transitions, and architectural details so the finished project feels cohesive rather than attached as an afterthought.
This is especially important when renovating older homes throughout Bexley, Columbus, and Central Ohio, where preserving the character of the existing home while introducing modern functionality requires thoughtful planning and experienced construction.
The goal is simple: when we're finished, the addition should feel like it was always supposed to be there.
